It’s finally starting to feel like summer around here and we’ve got some seasonal favourites to prove it! Did somebody say ASPARAGUS? Delicious! Asparagus has a relatively short season here in Nova Scotia, so this year I am going to try to pickle some and maybe blanche and freeze it to add to omelette’s over the winter, have any of you ever had luck with preserving asparagus? This week I think I’ll roast my asparagus in the oven with a bit of Ciro’s Asiago and maybe use the rest to make a frittata!
